Carlos Alcaraz is the recipient of the Stefan Edberg Award, which the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) traditionally awards for fair play, professionalism and integrity on and off the tennis courts.

The winner is chosen by votes from all tennis players who compete in tournaments organized by the ATP, and Alcaraz became the fourth Spaniard to receive this recognition, after Jose Higueras, Alex Correcha and Rafael Nadal. This, perhaps, is the only recognition that Novak Djokovic has never received in his career, and this year he was not nominated at all, since Dimitrov, Siner and Hurkach were also in the competition in addition to Alcaraz. The Stefan Edberg Award has been awarded since 1997, and the absolute record holder is Roger Federer, who won it 13 times, ahead of Nadal with five. Last year, this recognition ended up in the hands of Kasper Rud from Norway.
