At the age of 32, the former world champion in half-pike skiing, Kyle Sman, died in Japan.
Kyle Smane skied at Mount Hakuba Norikura in Japan. He was skiing with three friends when an avalanche suddenly started and buried them. He and another of his friends died, two others survived.
