
Alcaraz has won tournaments in Rio de Janeiro, Miami, Barcelona and Madrid so far, becoming the second youngest tennis player to win two Masters in the 1000 Series, a feat previously achieved by Rafael Nadal, who achieved the same success in 2005, but at the age of 18 years.
The Spanish child prodigy, however, became the first tennis player to eliminate three of the top five in the world in a single tournament, with Nadal, Djokovic and Alexander Zverev eliminated in turn.
