The Australian with Macedonian roots, Aleksandar Volkanovski, defended the title of champion in the featherweight category in the UFC, defeating the challenger, Brian Ortega from the USA, this morning. At the crowded T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Volkanovski, who is not very popular with the Americans, may have been dethroned, but he silenced everyone by defeating Ortega by unanimous decision (49-46, 50-45, 50-44), after five exciting rounds.
