Two of the top three tennis players of all time, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, will only be able to meet in the final of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the year starting on Monday, after being drawn on opposite sides of the the perch.
Nadal, who is the top seed in the absence of ATP No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, will have a difficult road to a possible showdown with the Serb, who has been given an almost open road to the battle for the tenth anniversary trophy in Melbourne.
