Novak Djokovic superbly won his 24th career Grand Slam after defeating Russian Medvedev 6-3, 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 in the New York final in three sets.

Only in the second set, the best tennis player of all time had (more) trouble to subdue Medvedev, after game after game, with incredible reversals and long points. That period lasted an almost incredible 105 minutes and was full of a dozen long and exhausting points, after which both tennis players once lay down on the floor out of breath.

And, in the tiebreak, even though he was in the negative twice, Nole used the only set point and announced another great victory.

The first and third sets were similar, but in the last part of the match, it was seen that Medvedev mentally collapsed, especially after he sought medical help after losing the second set due to shoulder pain.

This was the fourth US Open won by Novak, and with a total of 24 Grand Slams, he showed and proved that he is the best of all time, leveling the all-time list with Margaret Court.
