The Rolling Stones are soon to release their first album of new music in 18 years and the album “Live Kicks”, British media reports. It would also be the first album since the band’s drummer Charlie Watts died last year. An unnamed source said that after a traumatic year, the band members are looking forward to the future.
Thus, Mick Jagger (79), Keith Richards (78) and Ronnie Wood (75) in recent weeks reportedly gathered in a studio in New York, where they were joined by drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Daryl Jones.
After Charlie’s death there was uncertainty about what to do next. They had concerts scheduled, but it was not clear what next. However, now they have had time to think about everything and feel that the right thing to do is to continue what they have always done as a band, create new music and , hopefully, perform it in front of their fans.
