The Argentine plans to do the same next summer, that is, to leave as a free footballer. So far, all attempts by PSG to extend Messi’s contract have been unsuccessful. 

The footballer first announced to the leaders that he will decide on his future after the end of the World Cup in Qatar. However, the Catalan media say that he has already decided that he will not renew his contract with the Parisians, mainly because he cannot get used to life in the French capital. 

Returning to Barcelona is not a priority for Messi, but he wants to try himself in the MLS league, where he has a tempting offer from Inter Miami.
